Description

• Trifla is a powerful herbal remedy that consists of Haritaki, Bibhitaki and amla.It has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine as a multi-purpose treatment for symptoms ranging from stomach ailments, dental cavities to inflammation.

  Ayurveda uses trifla churna to support healthy respiratory, cardiovascular, urinary, reproductive, and nervous systems. The three fruits involved in making trifla are also well known for their individual effects:

  • Amalaki (Emblica officinalis): Has a cooling effect, manages pitta, supports natural functions of the liver and the immune system.
  • Bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica): Good for kapha, supports the respiratory system as well as kapha accumulations in all systems.
  • Haritaki (Terminalia chebula): Though it has a hot nature, it is still good for all three doshas (vata, pitta, and kapha). Known for its “scraping” effect, removes toxins and helps maintain healthy weight.
